Sky Watch Friday -

I left work a little earlier today with the intention of going for a walk at the beachfront. As luck would have it I got a flat wheel and after changing they tyre and getting it repaired, I was somewhat deflated myself and not in the mood to go out. I persevered and was not disappointed.

Sunset at the beachfront was spectacular this evening. The added bonus was getting this aircraft coming in to land.

You captures that aircraft very nicely, and I like the surrounding clouds!

That was some catch of the plane - looks like you are at the same level.

PS Do tyres really go suddenly flat these days??

Runee, this is the first time I have put on my spare wheel in 7 years. I was parked on the edge of a building site and I think a piece of metal went into my tyre

The first photo, of the beach, took my breath away. The light on the breaking waves is just beautiful. The color of the sky for your airplane shot is amazing. Lovely Sky Watch!

Wheels down as well!

But back to the first image. I am so taken by how much the rolling surf reminds me of the rolling clouds. Very spooky.

This is such a good shot, Max.

Most excellent and calm sea skies. The gentle waves on the shore look great. Sorry about your car.

Very nice photos. I am just now getting around. For some reason my computer would not let me open up the links from the skywatch page on Friday.
