Cheetah Cubs #3

The cheetah cubs at the Kragga Kamma Game Park are growing up fast and the mamma is becoming more inclined to bring them out into the open, which is great, because they are always a delight to watch.

Always ready for a game........................................

Kragga Kamma Magic

It was a real treat to spend the night at the Kragga Kamma Game Park and to wake up to all sorts of game on our front lawn, like giraffe, ostriches, warthogs and nyala.

This young nyala bull was part of a group that came past shortly after sunrise.

Cheetah cub #2

Who can resist a cheetah cub!  It was such a privilege and delight to experience these animals from close up at the Kragga Kamma Game Park outside Port Elizabeth recently.

This is the shy one from a litter of four. Who needs a fluffy toy when you can snuggle mamma's tail.

Tackling the mamma is all part of growing up

Play time - there's always time for fun and games

Cheetah cub

One of the new cheetah cubs at the Kragga Kamma Game Park outside Port Elizabeth that entertained us with its antics this afternoon. It is really a treat to have such a well stocked game park on our doorstep.

Skywatch Friday - Giraffes

Sometimes bland skies can be enhanced with a pair of giraffes. They are such regal looking animals, but to me they always look unhappy.

Visit Skywatch for more great skies from around the world.

Portrait of a tortoise

This mountain tortoise reminds me of a grumpy old man. He was nonchalantly chewing away at the grass, on the side of the road at the Kragga Kamma Game Park, the last time we visited and paused long enough for me to take a photograph.
