I have really enjoyed this project, which was to photograph the indigenous flowers that have been blooming throughout the winter months and have decided to continue with it.
This week I am featuring the plumbago for a second time around. Wherever I have gone I have come across one in flower. Ignore the elephant and enjoy the flowers.
The plumbago is so simple, yet so striking.

PEDP's Sunday post also features plumbago. I always loved it when the UK tourists said that they grow them in pots back home and can't believe how they grow in the wild over here.
Such a beautiful colour. I hope the elephant didn't tread on too many of them.
Oh, yeah! Let's ignore the elephant in the room...
It is hard to ignor the elephant...I loved elephants when I was a child. Teh flowers are pretty.
