I'm a sucker for an airshow. If it's on I'm there and nothing will keep me away, because I get such a thrill watching these machines doing their thing in the sky.
These shots were taken at the 2014 airshow in Port Elizabeth.
The big mango and the Silver Falcons (SA Air Force aerobatics team) going through their paces
When it comes to versatility and thrills, you just can't beat the Pitts Specials
.......especially when they do the "mirror"...............................
..........or how about doing an inside loop?

Ah, these are awesome indeed, Max!! I do love the air shows we have here in the states, but your captures are SO dramatic and amazing!! Thanks so much for sharing!! Have a great weekend!!
I;m a sucker too. We get the Red Arrows once a year and it's always a boon fest for photographers. These are fantastic.
Breathtaking views of these planes in action. Love the mirror view.
Wonderful captures Max - thank you for sharing.
Well done. I have never tried to photograph an air show, but I can see the challenges involved in getting images as good as these. Nice work.
I love events like that - well done, how exciting :-)
I loved the 1st & last pics. Gorgeous is the word.
Fantastic captures!
lovely pictures!
Those pictures are simply amazing Max! I'm too old to use the word awesome, but it seems the only description that is applicable!
Awesome pics!
Now that I have a DSLR I can't wait for the next airshow
