The second shot of the oyster catchers is just so good. Great great shot!
My SWF post is up here. Hope you can pass by if you have time. Thanks.
Wow, those two planes looks to be very close. I hope they didn't bump into eachother. Happy SWF
Your timing on the first pic is great, but I prefer the second picture. Looked like a great evening. See my post on PEDP.
I just love the oyster catchers on the wet sand. I grew up at Camps Bay, Cape Town and the photo of the surf and birds makes me nostalgic. No chance of moving back there - houses cost a fortune. Thanks for the visit. The quality of your excellent blog makes me proudly South African!
Great sunset shot with the oyster catchers. I love airshows too, great capture of that action..
Happy SWF!
First of all, Congratulation to your son!
About the Ecological Day I will love to have your participation. I will open Mister Linky on 1th November at 06:00 PM and you can add your name and URL any time.
I am glad that you figure out how to do huge photos. As my English is not so good, I could not understood how you fixed it. What's mean - must keep the aspect ratio right?
By my turn, I delete the width: 400px; height: 274px; that show up on the html of the picture and changed the value of s400 for the size we want.
See you on Ecological Day!
Ah! I forgot to tell you that I LOVE your photos, principally the sunset at the beach with those lovely birds!
Very cool sky shots!
Congrats to you, your son and family. Have a wonderful celebration.
Best,
Paz
I pick both shots...
The photo of the sunset is breath-taking. You take awesome and descriptive photographs! May I ask what type of camera you have?
Sreddy
Love the beach shot. What beautiful colors. Happy skywatching.
Marnie
I really like both pictures.
The first one is awesome spectacular and the second one has real fine soft colours.
what a great shot! One of daughter's friends is coming to Cape Town for a year and half starting in January......I think she will like your part of the world......
Excellent action shot and beautiful silhouetted birds
Oh my Max-e, not sure if you want to call this a delicate manouver, but I love the second photo very much, after getting goose bumps by looking on the first one, lol. Great photos as always Max-e. Anna :)
Both really stunning photos. Those two mating dragonflies in the sky look really dangerous. Flying at such close range, you must have nerves of steel.
The sunset put my heart back into it's rightful place. Oyster catchers are so active at sundown and make great sillhouettes agaist the glowing sand.
Gorgeous pictures! The first photo is breathtaking!
What a stunning shot of the oystercatchers - a perfect exposure!
