Flowers of the Eastern Cape #19 - Heliophila cornuta

Heliophila cornuta, or sunflax is found on rocky slopes in arid fynbos from southern Namibia  to the Eastern Cape. This one was taken in the foothills of the Grootwinterhoek Mountains, near Klipfontein.

This is interesting...what it it growing in/on? I did just google...according to what I found it is a shrub. It is beautiful.

Rose it is growing in rocky soil on the side of a hill.
