Sky Watch Friday - Decisions, decisions...

The trip to Cape St Francis last weekend yielded some good pictures, but my problem has been, which one do I choose? So that's why I am posting two today.

We missed the best of the aloe season, but this aloe ferox overlooking the Kabeljauws River mouth near Jeffreys Bay on the way to Cape St Francis, makes a striking contrast with the sea and the sky.

This was the view from our pad at Port St Francis, on Sunday morning last weekend. No wonder I felt so relaxed.

Once upon a time there was this great and fantastic group of people who blogged and photographed … with a click, click here, a snap, snap there, all of them had a week to look upon the sky … day and night, by dusk or dawn, sunrise or sunset … and always there where great and fantastic photos to be seen when SKY WATCH was opened …

I am one of those proud sky watchers and I really enjoy each and every one of the photos you show us. I really think you are a first class sky watcher!

Wonderful photos. They make me feel relaxed too!

I do like the aloe image. The burnt orange is a distinct focus for the rest of the image. I did not realise that there was such a thing as an aloe season. We have many aloe where I work but I don't recall seeing any of them flower.

Why choose. Lovely peaceful shots.

I could not have chosen either...and I find it so hard to wait and spread them out over two or three weeks! These two are fantastic...I really like all the boats, etc.

Beautiful images. I love the gradation of color in the sky on the first one. And the boat photo is very nice. Makes me realize that I would like buy a small yacht when I retire and sail around the world. A girl can always dream.

Glad you shared them both. I always post too many pictures. These are beautiful. I love the orange flower in the first shot but each has it's own special quality.
