Crossing the line

It was a cold and windy night in the Bay and Suzie-K and I hit the road to find some photo opportunities. Now when it comes to photography I may be something of a perfectionist - I tend to stick to what is safe, like the good old nicely composed sharp pictures.

Well, tonight I may have broken the mold..........no tripod, dirty wind screen, hand-held camera, moving car ..........etc, etc, etc.

And I like the effect.............

I think I a going to explore this a bit more.

Very interesting pictures with the lights and reflextions. Plus I was trying to identify all the places.

Keep breaking the tripod! Like Firefly... I'm trying (hard) to place the spots... only thing, having not been in PE for more than 10 years makes it slightly more difficult!

AJ and Firefly for your edification:

1. and 2. Cape Road, Newton Park just before 3rd Ave
3. Russell Road, we were parked next to the PE College
4. I think this is the intersection of Russell Rd and Govan Mbeki Ave
5. Strand Street. That is the old Harbour Commission Bld on the left
6. Heading up to Russell Rd from Strand Street
7. Govan Mbeki Ave just after the Eric Tindale Building

Nice photos. Amazing how the wet pavements enhance the lights.

Interesting, but I do not think I will follow you on that path. I will check out your next experiment, though!!

It is fun to break out of the mold every once in a while. Have fun with your next experiment.

Can't hurt to experiment. And like you, I like the results. I especially like the photo with the flying hearts.
