The karoo rats were out in full force this morning and this one was a little more daring than the others, by straying into the open. There are many raptors that would be only too keen to turn it into a meal.

Rodents in the park
When traveling in the bush it is amazing what starts to emerge from the undergrowth when you stop, sit silently and watch.
