An elephant cow and her calf "enjoying a meal together" after having had a really good mud bath.

What an intimate scene! What a joy it is for a mama to share "playtime" and a meal with your child! This is a wonderful photo. Thank you for putting a smile on my face!

This is a nice warm and cuddly photo, very much in a kitten kind of way. I really think its time we visit Addo again.

I have always loved elephant--don't know what about them but I just have a soft spot for them.

Wow! Do you capture pictures like these yourself? Just wow!

Bodaat, this picture was taken at the Addo Elephant National Park, which is about 75 kms from our home. Whenever we go there we get to see the elephants. They are very used to people, so we often end up getting quite close to them and are able to get some good pictures. If you click on the links to elephants you will see what I mean.

Whoa! That's fantastic. Man, you have the most interesting environment to live in. I can only imagine such a place.

Happy trails.

These have to be my favourite of all the animals we have Max. I can watch them for hours especially if they are in the water. How nice it is to have Addo not too far away. The only time we stayed in PE was many, many years ago at Humewood Beach. In those days they used to have a lot or army bungalows there. The last time I was in that area it had changed completely too.
