Maitland River Mouth

I joined the family who had all gone fishing at the Matland River Mouth this afternoon. When I arrived the sun was setting over Cape St Francis. I never went fishing, but got some good pics. Except for locking my keys in my car, it was a good evening.

That's one of the prettiest sunsets I've seen!
You asked about Lantana on my blog a couple days ago. As far as I know, it doesn't grow naturally in Georgia. I planted my bush from a piece I got from my sister in another state.

What a breath taking view of the sun - no wonder you forgot fishing :D

Thanks for your visit and kind words and I'm glad you have a desire for coming to Norway too. Your welcome any time. I can understand you'll prefer summer time (May - August), but winter time is great too, you just have to learn how to dress properly. My saying is: 'There is no such as bad weather, only bad cloths'

Thanks so much for commenting on the wildlife in your city! I am so excited to have your city, country, continent on our wall of city wildlife! The kids are surely going to flip when they see that someone from Africa found us!

Thanks for popping in Jenty. Maitland has been my favourite beach for very many years. The sunset the other evening was exceptional.

I am sure you would love Maitland beach. It is one of the remaining unspoilt beaches in the area. You will be seeing much more of it in days to come
