The sky looked so beautiful this morning that we jumped into the car and drove to a point overlooking the harbour to catch the sunrise. We were not disappointed.
I like the light that brakes through the clouds. I love early mornings while others sleep and when you can hear nothing but the sound of silence and when you can feel the special smell of a new day.
What a view Max.. I am really glad to read your blog each time I come here. At times I forget how you were a few months back... you have done great Max you really have. One of the things that helped me to recover is the same as you have... the love of a good woman.. best medicine there is mate.
Tom, thanks for your remarks. You are so right - it was a good woman who got me through. At one time when in recovery it was touch and go whether I would make it - when I felf myself slipping away, it was the memory of Sue's voice, before the nurses removed her from the ICU that made me rally. The rest is history and the love is stronger than ever
After reading the comment above, I would just like to say thank goodness you had your wonderful wife to pull you through!!
What a gorgeous photo. The first light of day. How beautiful it is. I kick myself for loving my sleep-ins so much that I often miss it. Everything looks enchanted and soft at that time of day.
Oh Max-e you are absolutely right, this is a beautiful sky. Oh and it is so nice that you can just jump to the car and drive to take such nice photos. I would love to try this again, but with this cold, and me having hard time crawling out of bed, lol, is not possible. But I do enjoy beautiful frosty winter views at times driving to work. Thanks for sharing this side of the sun ray that comes from that one sun we all can see it (obviously different times, lol). Thanks again, Anna :)
adding my voice to whatever interests me and celebrating the beauty of our country

My aging and quirky Hyundai Terracan which is not always reliable, but somehow manages to get me and Sue through our many adventures. Here we were heading up the Sani Pass.

Onward and Upward.
Meda, you are so right, the early morning is a really special time - so quiet and you have the whole world to yourself
