Katney I know what you mean. These guys sit on the sea wall and if they are in a mellow mood let you get quite close.

Thanks Bob, I was in fact concentrating on the eyes this time. They are usually just a black blob on the head, so I was delighted to catch the glint this time round.

Michele, they are used to people and let you get quite close. The zoom also helps, though this time round it was not really needed.

Susanne, thanks. I also find them very entertaining. I believe the French call them rats with wings.
