Spiders web

The spider was nowhere to be seen, but I thought the web would make an interesting black and white study, with the dewdrops. This was taken at Otters Landing last weekend.

This is beautiful! I love looking at spiders' webs with the morning dew on them. I know the creatures freak a lot of people out, but not me! :D

I am intrigued by webs. Not a fan of the spider but I seem to be warming up to them more over the past year. This is a lovely!
When I first saw it it reminded me of an underwater shot :)

In response to your question on my last post....Do I live in the country? Yes, I do ...but not on a farm. There is a development here, so we have neighbors....and 3 miles down the road there is a University with about 25 thousand students....so I like to think we have the best of both worlds.

The same curtains which have remained half opened all day and will do so untilJane gets home to check them for me.. ha! what a big softy.

Kerri, warming up is a good sign - next thing you know, you nmay even have one as a pet :)
With all the dew on this one it was almost an underwater shot.
Thanks for the background on where you stay - it explains all the open spaces

Tom, you had me and Sue rolling about with laughter about your fear of spiders. She was also scared of them, but I have trained her. A spider was almost the end of a good relationship when we first met.
I took her for a drive through the bush in an open Land Rover - we were not using roads. It was in the old Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) Next thing she was trying to climb into the back, because there was a spider at her feet. I was no Sir Gallahad and brushed off her fears very rudelly, I am told.
She was so angry she was going to get into her car and drive back to Salisbury without me. As it turned out I was the one with the petrol money - I am happy to say that my charm and her forgiving nature won the day - that was about 32 years ago.

Wow, looks like something out of this world, like something from outerspace landed and is starting to get a foothold here to overtake the world and all the living beings, probably just me watching too many space shows lately. Very cool pic.

Max-e very nice spider web. The interesting point is that there are quite a few posts with spider webs, must be something about spiders and the time of the year, lol. Thanks for sharing, Anna :)
