This Ford Deluxe sedan, probably a 1947 model, is on display at the SA Airforce Museum in Port Elizabeth. She is really a symbol of a bygone era - imagine running one of these at todays fuel prices.

A very stately vehicle indeed. Eish, I can just imagine what the fuel cost would be especially in SA rands. These old cars had huge tanks as well. I will stick to my little runabout thats about all i can afford.

The Airforce Museum truely has a couple of gems in their collection. I must say I didn't notice the car last time I was there so it must be a "new" addition.

That's a classic. I'd definitely enjoy driving that vehicular object if I had my license and was old enough.I just made myself sad.
