If you want a good sunset or just a walk on the beach then the Maitland River Mouth, near Beachview, is the place. This is a view across St Francis Bay, looking towards Jeffreys Bay.

Perfect sunset by the sea.
Makes me wish to be there (*smile* I got to be more careful with my wishes, only moments ago I was wishing some snow like John in Norway is showing us this week!).
Still, I would not mind watching your sunset, while waiting for the snow to arrive. ;-)
Congratulations on being a Blog of Note. Eight thousand visitors you said? Mamma mia! :-)
Apparently a place to be at sunset! A feeling of peace pervades it.
You ARE the Master, Max-E. This photo just grabs you right away and takes your breath away.

Beautiful Sunset!! I love your page and sharing your world with photography...just amazing!
Absolut perfect sunset by the sea, nice colored! :o)
Incredible colour and light
Interesting how the sun reflection comes to life right at the shore line. It really draws the viewer into the photo.
Great Shot! Love the colours - so rich and warm and inviting. We get a lot of beautiful sunrises where we are here in South Australia - probably more so than sunsets.
I am at a loss for words to describe how beautiful this photo is. Magnificent!

Wow! I need a picture like this for one of my hypno audio cd covers. If you're interested, please let me know!
That is just so beautiful - the perfect time of the day to capture beauties such as this one
Love the way your picture rushes to a point perspective to the right of the frame. Makes for a great compositon. Lovely colours too.
Very nice blog! You deserve to be chosen as Blog of Note.

Congrats on your award. Very well deserved. I enjoy your photos of wildlife I could only before see in the NG magazines. So nice to view the photos and hear your firsthand accounts.
Oh, how gorgeous! Many years ago I took a similar shot to this at Sardinia Bay at sunset - long before I knew anythign abtou filters or exposures or anything. Sometimes, the raw materials are just plain good enough :) And well done on your well-deserved Blog of Note mention!
The picture is really inspiring. I might just have to go there for my next vacation!
