Elephant time again

The result of a spontaneous trip to the Addo Elephant Park this morning was nothing less than elephants.

Strolling down to the Domkrag water hole for a drink.

Elephant cow and calf also heading down for a drink. The Addo elephant cows are unique, in that they do not have tusks.

A time for reflection.

These are fabulous. I can't wait to show these to my mother. She love elephants. She's 80 and doesn't even get out to the zoo anymore, so she will love seeing these.

Catching up - - scrolled down a bit further than this post even -- and all of your pictures are as always amazing.

This post makes tears come to my eyes though. There's just something about elephants. The mother and baby -- and the reflection one especially are heart-rending. Thanks for sharing. I can't imagine how wonderful it must be to live where these are almost everyday sights.
