Skywatch Friday -

This is one of a series of pictures I took at Shark Rock Pier one morning, with the flags flying in the wind, just before the start of the World Cup Soccer.

Wonderful early morning shot - full of promise, just like the atmosphere must have been just before the kick off!

Magnificent shot, I particularly like it because of the occasion: we are still celebrating here in Spain :)

I tried to get to the pier for sunrise the other morning and only made it as far as the Baakens Valley cause I left too late. Great shot.

I love the glow from the sun in this picture. The bridge and flags really lead you to the sunset. Great shot!!

The lines, the light, and the silhouettes it makes-- I absolutely love.

It looks great as well how the flags fly with the wind.

Oooh! What a stunning photo! At first glance, it seems as if the bridge ends abruptly over the ocean.
