The feral pigeon has gained notoriety for their total disregard for statues and they are so common we often overlook them, but they are quite attractive birds.

They are also very opportunistic and can be seen here popping in for food at Richmond Park.

Great photos!
Pigeons here in the U.S. are really considered pests, but they are somehow fascinating to me. And there are so many different variations of coloring.
I had posted at one point how they are in their own little worlds and only pay attentionto us human beings when threatend by force or traffic.
I remember when, as kids, we would feed them on Market Square. Not many left around there anymore, not like there used to be.
Some nice action shots. I especially like the one of the birds at St Phillips Church.

My favourite shot is the last one, coming in for a landing! I do love watching pigeons!! Do you remember Tom Lehrer's "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park"? Second oldie that photos have brung to mind this morning!!
