Airshow 2006

These are some aerobatic shots I took at last year's airshow. Enjoy.
Precision flying by the South African Airforce Silver Falcon's in the Pilatus Astra.

The Mazda Zoom Zoom Team also put on an excellent display in the highly manoeuvrable Zlin 50

Thanks for the comments Jenty. I must say that I have developed a great respect for aviation photographers. Very challenging. I thing I must have got rid of 90% of the pics I took

This is my favourtite part of flying - being a spectator. I love planes but hate flying.
My son is a commercial pilot, so I get all the inside information on the planes and the techniques.
But I like terra firma

max-e excellent photos. I used to attend air shows in Toronto regularly when I was in university, and then I stopped, I guess after seeing Nimrod crash in 1995 all the acrobatics scare me. Anna :)

Must have been quite a traumatic experience. I can see why they may not appeal to you any more.
